Canadian Tire needed help creating a new brand for the ultimate battery system, which seamlessly powers multiple brands across multiple categories. Through some creative name generation, strategy and a lot of sketching; PWR POD was born. The brand icon, inspired by the möbius loop representing the promise to “stay powered,” delivers on the creative platform of infinite possibilities. Power should liberate!
The brandmark is subdued in tonality to create a neutral platform to live with multiple brands. However, through PWR POD’s brand expression, it establishes its place in the world of innovative technology, radiating energy and vibrancy - creating a unique, bold, intuitive and aspirational aesthetic all its own.
